Yes, Lune Valley Driving School specialises in manual driving lessons. That means you’ll learn in a manual car with guidance that helps you build the skills needed for everyday driving and your practical test. We may consider Automatic lessons in the future.
The tuition car can only be used for a practical test if you’ve completed a minimum of 10 hours of tuition with Lune Valley Driving School and your instructor is satisfied that you have reached the required standard and are test ready.
The 10 hours is a minimum requirement, not a guarantee that the car can be used for your test. Your instructor must agree that your driving is at a suitable standard and that you’re ready to take the test before the vehicle can be booked for it.
Best of luck with your test!

🍌Banana Theory
Eating a banana before your driving test may help calm nerves. Bananas contain tryptophan, which supports serotonin production, potassium, which helps normal body and muscle function, and carbohydrates for a steady source of energy. But it’s not a magic trick. A banana might help you feel comfortable and fuelled, but passing ultimately comes down to practice, preparation and safe driving. If you don’t like bananas, another light, familiar snack is fine too.Good luck with your test!A helpful video about the practical driving test:
